Property Mini Crime Wave

Today we received several reports from the police of theft and attempted theft of items from vehicles and property, and damage to property in Wareham Road, Brog Street and Highfield Close Corfe Mullen on Thursday night, 23rd January and Friday 24th.

Over night between Thursday 23rd January and Friday 24th January a theft from an unattended motor vehicle occurred on Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen. It is unknown how the offenders gained entry to the vehicle, however the front of the vehicles radio was stolen and the glove box was opened.

Also overnight between Thursday 23rd January and Friday 24th January an attempt theft from an unattended motor vehicle occurred at Highfield Close, Corfe Mullen. The offenders tried entry by using a screwdriver to force the drivers door lock but were unsuccessful. If you saw anything suspicious or have any information please contact Dorset Police quoting Crime Number 3260.

Over night on Friday 24th January Between 12:05am and 11:40am a theft from an unattended motor vehicle occurred at Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen. The offenders gained entry by forcing the drivers door lock with a screwdriver and stole a tom tom sat nav from the vehicles glove box, along with the vehicles stereo system which was taken from the dashboard. Garage burglary: Over night Between Thursday 23rd January and Friday 24th January a garage burglary occurred at Brog Street, Corfe Mullen. Entry was gained by forcing the rear window of the garage. Having gained entry the offenders stole two chainsaws and a hedge trimmer. If you have any information please contact Dorset Police quoting Crime Number 3215.
