Police Warn of Cold Callers

Cold caller warning

On Monday 11th August a number of addresses along Albert road, Corfe Mullen were visited by a ' Cold Caller' claiming to be working for a roofing company. A number of quotes were given to home owners but we are happy to report that to our knowledge no quotes were taken up.

Corfe Mullen & Stour SNT would like to remind all residents to never use cold callers for any type of work. Please report any suspicious callers to the police on 101.

Burglary suspect arrested
Over night between Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th August, a burglary occurred at a commercial premises was on Old Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen. Entry was gained by forcing a door to an office, a laptop and cash was stolen.

Corfe Mullen & Stour SNT would like to inform you that a male has been arrested in connection to this burglary and the investigation is ongoing.

Garage burglary
Over night between Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th August. A burglary to a garage occurred at an address in Old Rectory Close, Corfe Mullen. Offenders gained entry to the garage by forcing the rear door. Once inside they stole two expensive mountain bikes.
